Martin Bridle trained at Exeter College of Art in an area loosely defined as “sculpture”. He has since added performance skills and is now recognised as a highly skilled puppeteer and director of puppetry.Together as Hand to Mouth Theatre, Martin and Su have had numerous notable performances and achievements. Amongst these have been a performance for the animators at Pixar Studios in California ( Toy Story, Wall-e etc), shows in South Korea against the barbed wire of the Demilitarised Zone, and a performance on the Greek island of Hydra at night beneath the stars!
Martin is available as a director and teacher of puppet movement for projects and shows. He is a full member of Equity.
Artist, designer, illustrator, musician, and performer, Su Eaton’s many and varied talents contribute greatly to the success of the company. As well as keeping the Hand to Mouth Theatre paperwork up to date, she offers shadow puppet workshops and shows, and INSET days.
She trained at Exeter College of Art, and has since had several one-person exhibitions, has illustrated books for children and also self-help manuals. (Hamish Hamilton, Blackie, Harper Collins etc ). More information about her illustration and printmaking can be found here: http://su-eaton.co.uk
